My favourite character was the duck because she tricked the Highway Rat and saved all the animals. I would recommend this book to someone else.

The Highway Rat teaches you that sharing is an act of kindness and is caring.
The Highway Rat learnt the hard way after being unkind to take peoples food and leave them with nothing.

I like the rat

I liked this book. My favourite character was the rabbit with the clover. She was wearing a pink dress. My favourite part was when the duck tricked him and said there were biscuits and buns and there wasn’t. I would recommend this book.

This book was a tale of a greedy rat who wanted everything for himself which didn't turn out that way at the end. Very clever book I liked it.

This is my favourite book and I love reading it

The Highway rat would take food from everyone and leaves from the ants. The duck led him into a cave meanwhile when he was in the cave all the animals were having a big party.

The rat is fat and eats all the food. I like the horse. I like to join in with the story.

My favourite bit was when he found his way out of the echoey cave

Like when the rat changed from being a thief and learned a lesson

This is a fiction book and my favourite character was the horse because even though his boss was mean he was kind. It was a good story because all the good characters got their food back in the end and the rat turned nice.
