Ruby and Garnet are ten-year-old twins. They’re identical, and they do everything together, especially since their mother died three years earlier – but they couldn’t be more different. Bossy, bouncy, funny Ruby loves to take charge, while quiet, sensitive, academic Garnet loves nothing more than to curl up with one of her favourite books.

This is a really good book about 2 identical twins I like Garnet better than Ruby but I am not going to say anymore because I do not want to spoil it
I didn’t really like this book at the start but it got way better near the end it was really good and at times funny
Ruby and Garnet are 10 year old twins they do everything togefer since there mum died 3 years ago
I loved double act, especially when Garnet and Ruby auditioned for a play and tried to get into boarding school I like this book because they go on amazing adventures together .This book is an adventure waiting to happen! I liked Garnet best because she likes to read instead of playing sports although she is the youngest unlike me I would recommend this to girl from ages 7-12 who like a twist in their books.
Double act is a really funny book because when the twins try to do things they always get in trouble. I especially love the twin grin and how they go to the toilet together in class. I think the special twin signals are really cool because the other one always understands them. I recommend this book for someone else to read
This was very good because these sisters were identical. Then they had a fight and one decided to chop all her hair of and then they got back together and were best friends again.
This i found was a really good book because these twins Ruby and Garnet look the same, talk the same and act the same in front of people. i also quite liked it too because although these twins do everything the same and together, by the end they are both completely different in hundreds of ways.
it is possibly the best book I have read
This book is a good book. My favourite character is ruby because she is always confident in what she does. I would recommend this book to people who like funny books and friendship books.
This is a very good book and I love reading it so much I have read it at least 4 times! I find it very captivating especially the twins Ruby and Garnet! This is also really good for people (mostly children) going though death or devorse to find out that if you hate the new member of the family that maybe they are nice you just don’t want to except that. My favourite character is Garnet I can relate to her a lot I don’t have a twin but my best friend is like a twin to me and she’s definitely the Ruby! I would recommend this book to everyone who wants a quick entertaining read!
It's the first Jacqueline Wilson book I have read and I will definitely read some more of her books.
This book is about two twins who have very different personalities but love eachother just the same.
I really wish that I could be a twin like Ruby and Garnet and that I could go to a boarding school
Ruby and Garnet are completely different from each other but they are twins and they're having some trouble between them!
This book is about two twins Ruby and Garnet Ruby is A fierce girl and Garnet is quite a timid and shy girl
I loved how it was about Twins and stuff, I recommend it can be for Twins that hate each other and realise they should be nice to each other
I really enjoyed this book because I loved how the twins were best friends and if they broke up they always got back together again. My favourite character is Ruby because she is really different to me
I really liked this book because it was a very fun book and there were lots of surprising parts. The story was about two twins called Ruby and Garnet and they are different but the same in many ways. My favourite character was Garnet because she was always perfect. I would recommend this book to someone who likes Jacqueline Wilson books.
Ruby and Garnet are identical twins that do everything together but being so different can they stay together forever?
read the book to find out more!!!
amusing book
It is an amazing book about identical twins with opposite personalities. Very entertaining and I would definitely recommend it to others
This book is very funny! I would recommend it for ages 9-11. Ruby and Garnet are twins, but they have VERY different personalities! Ruby is lively and bouncy and wants to act when she grows up. Garnet is quiet and shy and would rather like to become a writer when she's older. But then something happens that changes their lives forever! Read this book and you'll soon find out...
Really enjoyed this book but it had a bit of a sad ending though overall I would defiantly recommend it
It was so great, I loved every minute of it!
I prefered Garnet to Ruby because I can relate to her, even though Ruby gave me a great laugh.
I would recommend it to someone else because it was interest and one of the best booprobelmsks I have ever read.
If you are looking for a bordem buster and you can not find any more great books, this one is your best friend.
As it comforts you in giving you a great read, all twins will be able to relate to Ruby and Garnet's differences and how they argue about life problems. They are very likeable and are great fun.
Rose, however, is their step-mum and they both share an intrest of disliking her intensely.
Richard, their dad tries to do the best for them but he normally ends up make them angry.
And that is why this book is a great read!
It’s really good but one bit is sad . I really enjoyed it. I would recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of drama.
Ok
Double Act is an incredibly emotional book that always makes my eyes water. It's about identical twin girls, Ruby and Garnet, who couldn't be more different. They live with their father and their gran; Their mother has died and they are quite sad. Whilst Ruby adores acting and planning being a film-star, Garnet loves reading classic novels and enjoys a more quiet life. But they both agree on one thing - they hate their new stepmother, stupid frizzy-dizzy ROSE! But life is about to turn upside-down...
...will the twins ever be together again?
It's a heartwarming story that is timeless. I really love it.
My favourite characters are both girls because, like Ruby, I love acting, and, like Garnet, I can curl up with a book for hours on end. I would recommend this book to girls and boys aged 7-12.
I have always loved Jacqueline Wilson's books, I have read almost all of them.
It was funny really good, but i can't rate it high because I have read some other of her books and they are much better.
I would recommend Jacqueline Wilson books to someone else.
This is a brill story about two identical 10yr old twins who look alike but have very different personalities.
I’d recommend it to anyone who likes Jacqueline Wilson’s book or a person who’s up for a laugh in a non joke book.
A good read.
It was a pretty good book as it explored the idea of twins not always being the same. The argument between twins Garnet and Ruby helped them to become more independent and their own person.
