Ruby and Garnet are ten-year-old twins. They’re identical, and they do everything together, especially since their mother died three years earlier – but they couldn’t be more different. Bossy, bouncy, funny Ruby loves to take charge, while quiet, sensitive, academic Garnet loves nothing more than to curl up with one of her favourite books.

I really enjoyed the book it really made me think about what it would be like to be a twin I would definitely recommend that book
My mummy is a twin so I lived reading about Ruby and Garnet in this book. I also have a sister so it was good to read a book about sisters.
This is a really funny book because the twins always know what the other is going to say or do. I like Jacqueline Wilson books and this made me laugh.
I liked it because of how the characters were very different but looked the same, they had very different personalities. The author did such a good job of describing the characters that I could always tell which was which in the pictures. Yes I would recommend this book to other readers, I really enjoyed it.
It was great!
A lovely mix of drama and heartfelt!
Sad and happy
It was a good book
Love Barnet
Fun to read
The twins Ruby and garnet are very close since their mother died but can they stay close and keep doing everything together?
Ruby and garnet are twins who do everything together bit they have differences that means they may not be able to work together forever
the best part was when they became sisters again
i find it very funny but... there are some gross parts
I LOVE this book. What a surprise!
This book was amazing my favourite character was definitely Ruby !
It was a bit boring at first but I was great at the end
I liked how the story was being told by 2 ppl at the same time!
My favourite character is Garnet because she likes to read and write just like me.
I got a bit emotional at the end where Ruby chops her hair off!
My favorite character is Garnet one of the twins, she is very calm and very grown-up about stuff but she does cry a lot but it is for her sister Ruby.
I would recommend it to a person with a very emotional person.
It was a amazing book full of sistersship
It was the best book. I couldn't stop reading it. My favourite character was Ruby. I like Jacqueline Wilson books. I would recommend it to someone else. I would choose their old mother that died.
Oh what a nice book
I like Rose because she is kind to the girls when they(especially Ruby)aren’t
One of the best books I ever read!
Siblings have their differences. Even twins.
Like Ruby and Garnet. Since their mother had died, the twins made a promise that they do the same thing, at the same time, always. But that promise started to end roughly since their dad, Richard, started to date a girl named Rose. Rose is nice and all, but she’s nothing like their mother. Will Ruby and Garnet find love in their-soon- to be-mother? Or will they try to escape the house and go to boarding school? Find out in Double Act by Jacqueline Wilson!
One of the best books in the world of Jacqueline Wilson.Wish I could give it a 100 out of 100!
Anyone who is a twin of a boy, or a girl would love this book though it is a story of 'girl' twins. My favorite character is Garnet because she is gentle, kind and smart, though I would also choose Ruby because she is strong, brave and she stands up for what she believes in. My favorite scene is when Ruby and Garnet told their stepmother,' 'We only-, Act stupid-, To-'' And then they say together, ''To Stupid People''. I would like to recommend this book to kids who are my age or lower.
Thank you for listening!
I enjoyed this book because there's a lot of trouble
This book was not very good at the beginning but it got better and better and at the end it was interesting
