History is boring, right? Wrong! The Victorians weren’t all deadly dull and drippy. Lottie certainly isn’t. She’s eleven – like me – but she’s left school and has a job as a nursery maid. Her life is really hard, just work work work, but I bet she’d know what to do about my mum’s awful boyfriend and his wimpy little son.

I loved Robin's shy nervous personality clashing with Charlie's bashful, out going personality. I also absolutely loved Charlie's passion for baking and her soul mate Lottie. Would definitely recommend!!!

I love the fact that a victorian story was added to the book cause it let me know more about the past history

It was about a girl called Charlie and she had to do a school project on the Victorians. She chose a girl called Lottie who was a slave to be her main character. It tell you about Lottie's life as well as Charlie's life.

Good as teaches me about Victorian stuff

It wasn’t a very gripping book but my favourite people were Lottie and Jo. I recommend this because the part we’re they go to the theme park is really good to read about because Lottie is very reactive to everything Jo and Mark says.

Amazing. This book tells not to be jealous and horrid and to not judge people by who they are. My favourite character was Charlie. Read this amazed book because it will touch gown heart.

I really enjoyed this book it was interesting as I feel I have a close connection with the main character, Charlie. We both have red hair and are equally fiery. Thank You Jaqueline Wilson !!!!

I thought that this book really helped me to understand what it feels like to have a single parent.
I would recommend this to anyone who likes a sort of family humour.

The book was great I had a wonderful journey it had everything I like such as drama, adventure, sadness and it had a happy ending which my heart was relieved of. In the book, my favorite character was Charlotte also known as "Chalie" as she was very bossy and could be mean but from the inside, she had more to her. I would definitely recommend it as it is such an amazing book and also I think the people the people who love drama who really like this book.

Lottie because of how good she told both stories.

Because it tells you about the olden days.

Yes , because it tells you about the olden days and what it was like as a victorian.

This book is about a girl called Charlie. This girl has a mum. Her mum is looking for a job. She goes into cleaning and babysitting. There is a certain family she babysits for. This is a family made up of a man and a boy. Eventually, the mum and man fall in love. But does it stay like that, and how does Charlie react?

A funny book with an exciting, funny, and surprising ending!!

I like how it teaches me about history and learning about Victorians. I like it where Charlie turns her teacher's name around the other way in Lottie's diary because that's really clever.

My favourite character was Lottie. (1 of the main characters along with Charlie/Charlotte the girl who made her up.) Lottie is a girl of 11 brought up by a poor family that lived in the Victorian times. Lottie has to leave school to go to work as a servant girl to make money for her Mother.
Charlie the girl who made Lottie up for her school project on Victorians. Charlie’s mum Jo looses her job and finds 2 cleaning jobs and a childminding job. The little boy that Jo looks after goes missin

This book is lovely. Charlie is cheeky and always insists on doing her own way. Miss Beckworth is strict and certainly knows how to keep her class in order, however she is most surprising too, for she is strict but also soft.

The Lottie Project is a very good book to read. It is about an eleven year-old girl called Charlie who has to do a project about the Victorians, she thinks it is going to be boooooring. So she decides to make a diary of a girl called Lottie. They are the same age and shair the same name but while Charlie's mum, Jo, is working for a man named Mark and his son Robin. Lottie, on the other hand is working all day long as a nursrey maid.

The Lottie Project is a great and I certinly reccomend it!

The illustrations were a bit odd but the story was good. It told of Charlie who had thought that Victorians were boring until she wrote a diary about a Victorian girl.

I absolutely love this book!! I like the fact that by the end she's friends with the person she hated the most showing that some people really aren't that bad. The reason I rated it 4 though is because as much as I love the book- there's more detail about Lottie than Charlie and I really want to know more about Charlie. One last thing I want to outline is that Jaqueline Wilson is quite a famous author and as Charlie- The main character- has ginger hair she could of made it a bit about being bullied because of the way you look?

Jackeline Wilson books always amazing, born to be good.
