I do like it's just there is a poem that is about naughtiness which I don’t like.
Great poems. Mummy even read it
Lots of funny poems
What a fun sequel to please Mrs Butler. Lots of fun poems and songs about school life. It made me giggle and smile and join in with parts.
This is a fun book to read and recommend it it’s super fun.
Brill!
This was a poetry book about primary school. It is very funny with very good illustrations. My favourite poem is ‘We’re Breaking up!’
Really funny poems related to schools. Good for dipping in and out of when you have 5 minutes
I liked the poem ‘The Mad Professor’s Daughter’ the best because it’s about mysteries and curses. I would recommend this book to kids over 6 years.
I really liked this book because it had lots of poems about the lives of children at a school. My favourite poem was “Bags I” and it goes like this,
Bags I the dummy,
Bags I the cot,
Bags I the rubber duck
That other baby’s got.
Bags I the cricket ball,
Wickets and bat,
Bags I the hamster,
Bags I the cat.
Bags I the pop records,
Hear the music throb,
Bags I the levels,
Bags I the job.
Bags I the sweetheart,
Lovers for life,
Bags I the husband,
Bags I the wife.
Bags I the savings,
Mortgage and then,
Bags I the baby,
Here we go again.
Bags I not the glasses,
The nearly bald head,
Bags under eyes,
And the middle-aged spread.
Bags I the memories,
How it all began,
Bags I the grandpa,
Bags I the gran.
Bags I the hearing aid,
Bags I the stick,
Bags I the ending,
Quiet and quick.
Goodbye world,
Goodbye me,
Bags I the coffin,
RIP.
Its a good book, filled with poems about school using old style wording. Some times it was a little hard to follow so I sat with my Mummy and we read the poems together.
I just love this book as it has lots of really good poems about all sorts of things that go on at school.
My favourites are 'Dog in the Playground' and 'Please Mrs Butler' but there is something for everyone in this book so why not pick it up today and enjoy.
Fun poems and a great "Teacher's Prayer."
