Love it
I loved this book.
This is a very interesting book! It is a bit sad because of all of the deaths, but I really love the ending. My favourite characters are obviously the orang-utans! I recommend this to people who like adventure books
It is an adventure story
Loads of animals
I like oona the best because she was a very smart and interesting elephant.I would recommend this book to people who like the jungle and trying to survive to protect it.
This book was nice it was AMAZING. I got to know more about tsunamis and rainforests. It was Non Fiction. I would DEFIANTLY recommend this book to someone else.
This book shows us what impact humans are making on the environment. A treasure.
It was a very good and moving story. And I love how 3 pages of it is just about the farting elephant.
It is a great story!
It a good book
It's the best book I've ever read by far, and the first Michael Morpurgo book I read.
I really loved this book it is now one of my favourites. My favourite characters were Will and Oona. I would definitely recommend this book.
It was such a sad and gripping tale and Oona was my favroute character. I nearly cried when the mother died and i felt so bad for Will. The ending was great and i loved reading every part of the book, good and bad it was a wonerfull tale.
The sad tilde wave I praise Ona from saving will he didn’t deserve what he went through it opens my heart as Ona stayed with him as he got better. It also shows even in the roughly places there are nice people like the chef or the other one. But nasty people and animal cruelty I don’t agree with his choice at the endi would of gone with my grandparents they did anything to find him the deserved him back home there son there only son kild in war then there daughter in law kild in a tilde wave now they find out there only grandkid is alive but he refuses to go with them. They deserved him back home
An egsotic story of man kind animals will has a good way with animals it also shows the sadness of the title wave I love Michael morpogo because a lot of his books are to do with real things. As well a ver interesting consevetry to do with gorilla and the changes he faced to survive Ona was so kind to stay with him all through his recovery and how happy his grandparents where
This was a wonderfully descriptive book. The animals were described in great detail and the settings were very visual.
I enjoyed the real life links the author described at the end of the book too with the Asian Tsunai and the Iraq war.
The narrative of the story was very sad and this was a constant theme throughout the book.
I found this book thought provoking
The tiger was my favourite character even though it went to a sad ending
Amazing!
I love this book. I feel more relaxed when I read this. I recommend it. I love Michael Morpurgo books because there so interesting and relaxing. I recommend this book

A truly wonderful tale, woven with passion.
I loved it and I enjoyed it very much.An Elephant and a small Boy being the best of friends!
Running world is a fiction book. My favourite character was Will Because he was really brave.
I loved this book. I would recommend it to anyone aged 8 plus and who likes adventure and saving the planet.
I really liked Will because cares about the animals in the jungle and Oona came back for him.
Good but also sad
I think this is a very touching book. It is about a boy who loses his mother in a tsunami and his only friend is an elephant that takes him to the forest where he learns to follow the rules of the jungle.
My favourite character in this fictional book is the elephant as she is very loyal to the boy and humorous. I would definitely recommend this to anyone over 8 years.
Great read
it was good l liked the animals
It was a great book and it was an amazing story even though it was non fiction. It was sad most things about it where sad but it ended up having a beautiful ending. It was a factual story but not about facts it was a story that actually happened it was some ones story and what I liked about it was you saw the story in somebody perspective. I would recommend this book who likes the jungle and adventure stories.
