Group of six friends who love reading and to meet, eat, drink and talk about books! Most of us met when our kids were at primary school, and the other one lives next door. Our group was born out of our now annual trip to London for the Women's Prize shortlist reading night. It's a our chance to just be together doing what we love - no partners, no kids, no dogs, no jobs - just us and our book. We meet six times a year and take it it turns to choose the book and host (but not both at the same time). Obviously, we've had to switch to online during lockdown but we're looking forward to meeting in a garden for our May meeting.
