Rebels and Radicals Book Group

I am looking to start a book club in the NW London area, focussing on books by people with interesting and extraordinary lives. People who have broken the rules and as a result inspired generations. We will explore books slightly offbeat, non mainstream, niche etc. So really keeping away from the best sellers but not just restricted to fictional novels. So we can look at diaries, autobiographical books, novellas, poetry, essays etc. Think well known writers like, the Doris Lessing; Jack Kerouac; Anais Nin; Amiri Baraka; De Beauvoir, Hunter S Thompson, Allen Ginsberg; Sylvia Plath and many others from the non western world which we could discover more about. If I get enough email interest, I will initially set up a Facebook group (kept private) or mailing list asking interested potential members to suggest books, venues etc. Hopefully it will start in September.
