KS3 Book Group

An after school book group for Year7,8 and 9 students at Addey and Stanhope School in Deptford. Run by school librarians - Laura Taylor and Elizabeth Bentley. Girls group meets on a Monday and boys on a Thursday.
We meet on a weekly basis and have so far taken part in the local Lewisham Schools Book Award and Book Quiz, and shadowing the Carnegie Award. We read, review, do quizzes, create animotos of favourite books. We have now started to invite a teacher to come along each week to share their favourite books with us.
