Poynton RBL Monday Book Group

Our friendly mixed group meets on the first Monday of the month (approximately), in Poynton's Royal British Legion Club. The group started in 2013 and so far our concensus choice of books has been eclectic and ranges from very old to very new, fiction mainly. We are not affiliated to a Library and the Poynton RBL clubhouse is a friendly venue with a bar. We currently have no restrictions on membership and will welcome new members. Membership of the Legion is not required. Next meeting Monday May 9th. The book under discussion is Sebastian Faulks' 'Where my Heart Used to Beat'. June meeting is on Monday 9th and we will discuss 'The Noise of Time' by Julian Barnes. Do get in contact if this appeals or just turn up - we will make you welcome,
