HOSPITAL STAFF READERS GROUP

This group is open to all hospital staff. We meet on the third Monday of every month at 5pm in the hospital\'s library and resource centre. The group is facilitated by a hospital library assistant and is in partnership with the public library service which kindly supplies books on loan. We currently have 15 members enrolled and due to work patterms usually have around 10 attendees at each session.Our aim is to provide a supportive environment where members can exchange views on the book of the month as well as their wider views on reading. We aim to read a wide variety of both ficton and non-fiction with the emphasis on reading for pleasure and reading a variety of genres that may not be the usual choice for an individual reader.
