Books and Banter
adults
We are a friendly small group who read (almost) anything. We like to really get into what we enjoy about a book or what we really hate, from characters to plots to good writing. We also just like a good chat.
In the past we have read:
The Old Ways by Robert MacFarlane (non fiction about walking and the rights of way and paths across rural Britain)
Wool by Hugh Howey (post apocalyptic science fiction where the everyone lives in giant silos)
Sister by Rosamund Lupton (about when a family member goes missing in suspicious circumstances)
The Sisters brothers by Patrick Dewitt (a gritty western)
Moonwalking with Einstein by Joshua Foer (non fiction about memory training).
If you\'d like to join us, please get in touch, or just turn up to one of our meetings!
