We are a group of 13 female friends which has been running for 3years. We meet in eachothers houses on the first Monday of each month.We go round the room with everyone reviewing the book in their own way which often leads to discussion and then someone brings the group back to order.Reviews of the book or author are often printed off the internet to add to the evening. The host for each month chooses the book for us to read and then it is ordered from the library.There is no rule on genre just different readers tastes. If films are available or released on a book we have read then a trip to the cinema is organised. One of the group who lives by the sea always hosts the August meeting and at the December meeting we all take a dish to share and buy a Secret Santa Book and receive our annual book mark with the dates and venues of all meetings for the year.
