Southfields Library Wednesday Reading Group

We are a group of approximately 13 (all female at present, but gents most welcome!). We start our reading year by each recommending a book. We meet on a monthly basis (usually the 2nd Wednesday of the month) to discuss that month's particular choice. At the end of our discussion we rate the book out of 10, and if we have time, we discuss other books we have recently enjoyed (or not!). The group is well-established and has now been meeting for more than 10 years. It is very informal; we enjoy a glass of wine and snacks with our chat. Sue, a member of the Library staff, participates in the meeting and produces a newsletter following each meeting. To re-cap: we meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, from 5.30-6.30pm.
