BBC BENJAMIN BRITTEN BOOK CLUB
adults
This group has been meeting for about a year. It has grown to 9 members and meets once a month on Sunday at 2.30 in Aldeburgh Community Library.
We choose books and plan dates about three months in advance. The library provides sets of books for us. We choose our books from a list provided by the library or by recommendation from the group.
We have just read Jonathan Frantzen The Corrections and next month on June 12 we are reading Joseph and his Brethren -a wonderful local story written in 1928.
We are very relaxed and fairly disorderly and chat for about an hour and a half over tea and coffee. It is very congenial.
