Defoe Book Group

The Defoe Book Group has been running for more than a decade in Stoke Newington at the Daniel Defoe pub (Defoe is one of a number of literary sons & daughters of Stoke Newington). We are a very relaxed and informal group and read a mixture of contemporary and classic novels including quite a lot of translations, also throwing in the occasional bit of non-fiction.
