The Guggenheim mystery is a fiction mystery book. It is about a time when a boy called Ted sparks, his sister Kat and his cousin Salim solve the mystery of how a painting was stolen as their aunty (Salim's mum) had been accused of stealing it. This was a really good book and I highly recommend it to those who like mystery books.
i found the book really interesting to read and it was a good book.i really liked reading it.
We read this book at school and I loved it so much, I asked my mum to buy it so that I could read it at home. My favourite character is Ted who solves the mystery of the missing painting. I liked it when Sandra and Ty were stealing the painting but Ted & his friends caught them.
Brilliant!!!
I would recommend the book to anyone who likes any of the following: Mysterys, detectives, art, New York, museums and police. My favourite character is Kat, the main character's older sister. The main character is Ted, and he has Autism. This book is the story of Ted's second mystery. He and Kat visit their cousin Salim, whose mum works in the Guggenheim. While they are touring the museum, somebody sets off a smoke bomb. When the smoke clears, they find a painting by Kandinsky has been stolen. Ted, Kat and Salim set off on an amazing, spellbounding adventure, where they uncover many clues along the way.
Mystery with a New York setting and a good detective plot
This Book is an amazing epic book. I loved it a lot.
Loved this book
I liked trying to wotk out who did it
This book is great! I have read both “The London Eye Mystery” and “The Guggenheim Mystery” and they were both so great. I enjoy a lot reading really exciting and gripping books like this one and when all the plans and work-outs fitted into place and making the reader go BINGO. I loved the fact that this is almost both fictional and a bit factual; there are so many interesting facts about art in history and the art gallery called The Guggenheim (located in New York, USA). This book was written in the perspective of Ted (he’s dyslexic and unique) so that we understand what it feels like to be someone like him, have such a ‘human computer’ brain full of clever ideas, theories and all possibilities ever to be thought of. I would recommend this book to children aged 11+ who loves mysteries, adventures and family stories.
Loved the main character and how he and his family coped with his autism.
Great mystery to boot!
A really good book for mystery lovers.
Exciting and easy to interact with.
This was gifted from the teacher and I everyone needs to read it to see why Robin Stevens is my top 5 authors!
This book is wonderfully detailed and has a lot of twists. I find this book really beautiful because it has lots of detail like I said and the character is not always right. Like the other book before this one (The London eye mystery) the view of Ted can be complex. The book is not by the same author as The London eye mystery even though this book is the second one. Again I would give this book 4.5 if i could. I would also make this book age rating 8-9+ years. :)
Crime mystery perfect
Fast paced, kept me guessing until the big reveal and a perfect follow up :)
It is really exciting and the mystery unfolds nice and steadily. At the end you can see why everything was how it was! So ecxiting!
This book was extremely good as Ted (the main character) was really good at noticing patterns which helped him solve the mystery. Kat was my favourite character as she had a passion for clothing design and she never gave up on her dream. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery.
Mystery.
This book is very good , especially as the mystery is so hard to solve. If I was Ted I couldn't solve it! I liked Ted the best as he is so clever as sometimes funny , but not deliberately , due to his syndrome which makes him take things quite literally. I would definitely recommend this book to someone else, of the age of 7-13. Maybe other ages.
Nice book, the boy Tom is really smart but Kat has attitude. Overall I really recommended this book for people who like mysteries!
The characters were really interesting and I loved the first one so it was really nice to have a sequel. The authors note at the end was interesting and I had no idea that the author of the London Eye mystery had died. It was a great book and the character relationships were excellent.
Very clever.
Great characters, although at times I felt it laboured the point of Ted being autistic.
Considering all Robin Stevens had to go on was a title she has done very well to continue the characters and storyline written by Siobhan Dowd. A great series.
This book was a good sequel to The London Eye Mystery. While it, sadly, had to be written by a different author, Robin Stevens kept true to the depictions of the characters and the style of writing.
It is a good and cleverly plotted mystery.
I would recommend it to children in Y6.
Another great mystery from Robin Stevens who has successfully followed up Siobhan Dowd’s London Eye Mystery. Great characters.
Mistry
Very good mystery.
I really like how the plot of this book unfolded.
This book was interesting as it was a lot of mystery in it which made it more exciting.
It was a very good book to read as it has some mystery in and puzzles. I liked Aunt Gloria best because she was very nice and very cool.
