Young Merlin

A short book with lots of cliffhangers. Used it over three Book Club sessions with my Year 4 class and most children really enjoyed it! Lots of interesting discussions about who was the most important character, what they would do if they were Merlin and how would the story be different if the King was a better leader. They were slightly annoyed that the mystery wasn't solved and that there was a sequel which shows that they were invested!!

It is great for any type of reader!

They can read the book because it is very interesting,a true wizard who had no father.
